Cars, parking and travel arrangements

We can accommodate about 30 cars in our car park and can arrange for additional parking in one of the estate car parks if required. Please observe the speed limit in the estate grounds.

You might like to consider a low-carbon option for "transport' to and from your wedding. Ideas include a traditional horse and carriage, pedal-powered rickshaw, or perhaps even a tandem but please remember we are at the end of a long private track!

Some couples have chosen to continue the "woodland" theme to their transport arranements and arrive in a Landrover spruced up with ribbons.

There are also plenty of green ideas for transporting your guests between venues. There are usually no access problems for larger vehicles (although of course you must check this) and you could hire an old double-decker London bus, a vintage coach or even a team of heavy horses pulling a farm cart decorated with garlands of flowers!

You must ensure that guests not staying overnight have transport to leave the site promptly at half past midnight. Taxis must be pre-booked in advance due to our remote location. Please provide your guests and any suppliers with detailed directions to the venue.

Please note that all site visits must be pre-booked and you should inform us of any deliveries being made to the site on your behalf.
